What areas do you shoot in? Our home base is Port St. Joe Florida. If we are shooting rental photos in Franklin and Gulf county there’s not additional travel charge. If you have a special request, I’ve traveled worldwide so let’s chat to see if there is additional cost.

What happens if it RAINS? We can shoot photos in the rain- video is harder. Since this is vacation property or rental property we are shooting it’s best to reschedule. But if you’re in a hurry to get it to the rental market- let’s shoot. I can always replace a sky with blue sunny skies.

May I cancel and get a refund? You may cancel up to 24- hours ahead of the shoot without penalty. However, there are no refunds. We will give you a coupon code to apply to your next booking if cancelled more than 24-hours out from a shoot.

What if I need to reschedule? If you HAVE to reschedule I try to work with you. But I’ll be honest- it hurts my income because that day was booked by you and then if it’s not kept I’ve lost your booking and the one that could have taken your place. So PLEASE don’t reschedule unless it’s dire. The only caveat to that- if it’s 24- hours or less until the shoot then you’re charged and no credit will be given.

What is your turnaround time? 48 Hours from the time we finish shooting for rental photos.

How do I receive my Photography files? You will receive a link to download through Google Drives. Once you download the zip file to your computer, double click to populate and then you can upload.

How do I receive my Virtual Open House or Video Walk Through tours? You will receive a link to Vimeo to approve your video. Once approved, you will receive a download link for Social Media/Web videos.

Do you have a checklist you will send me? Yes we do! Once you book, you’ll automatically get an email that has all our top tips on how to prep a home and get ready for the shoot. Thanks for asking this one! I love when people are prepared :)

Do you move things when you’re on site at a home? The home needs to be ready to go when we arrive. We normally have bookings back to back so we come on site and shoot then leave.

Who owns the photos? Copyright law states the owner of the photography is the one who snapped the shot. Buell Productions OWNS all copyright to every photo. So, when you sign the terms and conditions you are agreeing to a limited use license purchased from Buell Productions where you may use the photos to market the sale of the listing. This includes printing flyers, running ads on social media, printed ads, website use, FMLS, GAMLS and email blasts. If you want to use the photos on your website or social media to market your business and use in branding your Real Estate company, that is a DIFFERENT license and must be purchased from Buell Productions separate than what you’ve paid to market the home.

What if a stager or builder wants to use the photos you took for me? Again, that falls under Copyright law and I’ll be happy to talk to them about purchasing a separate license for them to use. It’s always best to email and ask Margaret about using the photos if you are uncertain about the terms.
